Montego Bay is the second largest city in Jamaica, and the major hub of the island's tourist industry. Most visitors arrive at the Montego Bay International Airport. ATTRACTIONS:
* Doctors Cave Beach - is one of the most popular beaches in Jamaica, and is right on the Hip Strip, close to hotels, restaurants and night life.
* Rosehall Great House - built in 1770 and lovingly and faithfully restored in the late 1970s. This magnificent great house was the home of the infamous Annie Palmer (The White Witch of Rosehall), who was known for her murderous ways to both husbands and slaves.
* Greenwood Great House - the former plantation home of the Barrett family. Elizabeth Barrett Browning spent time there during her childhood. Beautifully maintained, this wonderful home still contains furnishings and personal items from the original family.
* Rocklands Bird Sanctuary – Located in the mountain village of Anchovy and founded by Lisa Salmon in 1958, Rocklands is a bird lover’s paradise! Only open from 2 to 5pm daily, but 3pm is the optimum time to visit! Countless varieties of birds will come and eat from your hand including the Streamer tail Hummingbird, the National Bird of Jamaica.

* Golf - at the beautiful Sandals Resort golf course.
* Chukka Cove - a full equestrian complex, offering everything from polo to trail rides. They also offer mountain bike tours and river tubing.
* Green Grotto Caves - take an underground tour through these historic caves with a crystal-clear lake at the bottom located between Discovery and Runaway Bays. The first Jamaicans, the Arawak Indians (Tainos), found shelter in the caves initially. Proof of this is evident in the multiple fragments of pottery and adzes that are unearthed from time to time. During the period of take-over by the English, the caves were used as a hideout for the Spaniards who were being driven out of the country.
* Cinnamon Hill Golf Course- at the Rose Hall, Resort and Country Club
* Half Moon Golf Club - for decades this Robert Trent Jones golf course has been the standard by which all Jamaican golf courses are judged.
* The Tryall Club - located 20 minutes west of Montego Bay.  This championship course is rightfully rated as one Jamaica's best.

GROCERY SHOPPING:
* Shoppers Fair - in the Blue Diamond Mall is the largest supermarket on the east side of Montego Bay, and has the widest variety of products. This is close to the Spring Farm villas. They accept most major credit cards.
* Super Plus - is on the west side of town, and along with the supermarket in the Westgate Shopping Plaza, is the choice for Tryall and Round Hill villas. They accept most major credit cards.
* Westgate Shopping Plaza - is also on the west side of town, and accepts most major credit cards.
 
SHOPPING:
* Gloucester Avenue or the Hip Strip - is the heart of the Montego Bay entertainment and shopping scene. The street is lined with a wide variety of shops selling everything from T-shirts to fine jewelry.
* The Craft Market - offers dozens of vendors selling local crafts and art.

* The Pelican - one of the favorite places for all-day dining with both locals and visitors. This has been a Montego Bay institution since the 70s.

Mondays - Beach Party: Welcome-Rum Punch, and a sumptuous buffet on the beach, with bonfire, barbeque, and Calypso band. Casual atmosphere...go barefoot!
Friday - Jamaica Night: On the seaside terrace, featuring a bountiful buffet, Jamaican specialties, Steel Drums or Reggae Band, and an exciting Jamaican folklore performance after dinner.
Wednesday- Managers Cocktail Party and Caribbean Curry Night: The Managers Cocktail Party is held in various locations. This event is followed by a Caribbean Curry buffet on the Seaside Terrace or a la carte dining.
Saturday - Gala Dinner Dance: A more formal evening of dining and dancing on the seaside terrace with a Jazz Band. Jackets often worn, though not required.
